As is well-known, Google, including Google Translate, cannot be directly accessed in China.
Therefore, to use Google Translate in Video Translation and Dubbing Software, you typically need to enter a proxy address. This can be quite troublesome for beginners who are unfamiliar with using proxies.
We recommend a small tool that allows you to use Google Translate directly without a proxy, just by right-clicking and running it once.
First, download the tool here:

After downloading, extract the files to a folder. You will find 3 files inside. Right-click on the GoogleTranslate.exe file and select "Run as administrator."
A black command window will open and run automatically. When you see the prompt "Set to Host file? (Y: Set)", type the letter Y on your keyboard and press Enter. That's it! Mission accomplished. Go ahead and try it.
Don't worry if it fails; keep reading.
Sometimes, due to permission issues, it might display a failure message. Please pay close attention to the prompt after you type Y, or even if no failure is reported, Google Translate might still be inaccessible. In such cases, you need to proceed as follows:
In the same black window (if it's closed, simply right-click on GoogleTranslate.exe and open it again), copy the two lines of content.
After copying, open the folder C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc. This means navigating from your system's C drive, then opening the Windows folder, finding and opening the System32 folder, then opening the drivers folder, and finally opening the etc folder. There you will see the hosts file, or HOSTS in uppercase. This file has no extension; don't worry, that is not an error.
Then, right-click on this file, select "Properties", uncheck the "Read-only" box, and click "OK".
Next, open this hosts file with Notepad and paste the content you just copied.
After saving, you are done. Go and try to access https://translate.google.com.
Can you access it now?
In the video translation and dubbing software, select Google Translate as the channel, and leave the proxy address field blank.
