This article will guide you step-by-step on how to leverage domestic AI large language models to enhance the quality and efficiency of video translation!

I. Alibaba Bailian: A Vast Selection – One is Sure to Fit Your Needs! ​

Alibaba Bailian is like an AI model supermarket, bringing together many excellent models such as the Alibaba Tongyi Qianwen series. Its biggest advantages are its low price and stable operation.

  1. Log in to the Alibaba Bailian Platform: Visit https://bailian.console.aliyun.com and log in.

  2. Browse Models and Copy Names: In the model list, you can see various available AI models and their pricing information. The qwen-max-latest and qwen2.5-72b-instruct models currently perform well in translation.

Click "View Details" for the model you are interested in, find and copy its Model Name.

  1. Create and Copy an API Key: Visit the API Key Management page https://bailian.console.aliyun.com/?apiKey=1#/api-key and create a new API Key. Copy this key for later use.

  1. Configure Video Translation Software: Return to your video translation software, find the Translation Settings --> OpenAI ChatGPT API settings page in the menu, and make the following modifications:

    • API URL: Enter https://dashscope.aliyuncs.com/compatible-mode/v1
    • SK: Paste the API Key you just copied from Alibaba Bailian.
    • Fill in all available models: Enter the model name you copied from Alibaba Bailian.
    • Select Model: Select the model name you want to use from the drop-down box.

  1. Save and Test: Click "Save" and then test the translation function to see if everything is working correctly.

II. Explore Silicon Flow: Another Treasure Trove of Large Language Models ​

Silicon Flow, similar to Alibaba Bailian, is also a large model marketplace that provides multiple choices.

  1. Log in to the Silicon Flow Platform:

    Visit https://cloud.siliconflow.cn/models and log in.

The Qwen2.5-72b model is recommended here, as it strikes a good balance between stability and price, and the translation effect is also excellent.

Click on the model name and copy the Model Name in the pop-up details page.

  1. Configure Video Translation Software: Again, return to the video translation software, find the Translation Settings --> OpenAI ChatGPT API settings page in the menu:

    • API URL: Enter https://api.siliconflow.cn/v1
    • SK: Paste the API Key you copied from Silicon Flow.
    • Fill in all available models: Enter the model name you copied. If you want to use multiple models, you can separate them with commas.
    • Select Model: Select the model name you want to use from the drop-down box.

III. Directly Connect to Deepseek Official Channels (Currently Unstable, Temporarily Unavailable) ​

If you want to experience the original Deepseek model, you can try the official channels:

  1. Register and Get API Key: First, go to Deepseek Open Platform https://platform.deepseek.com .

  2. Configure Video Translation Software: Open the video translation software, find Translation Settings --> OpenAI ChatGPT API in the menu, and we can make some modifications to use Deepseek:

    • API URL: In the "API URL" text box, enter https://api.deepseek.com/v1.
    • SK: In the "SK" text box, paste the API Key you just created on the Deepseek platform.

  3. Select Model:

    • In the Fill in all available models text box, enter deepseek-chat,deepseek-reasoner.
    • Select the model you want to use deepseek-chat in the Select Model drop-down box.

    Tip: deepseek-chat is the V3 model, suitable for daily translation. deepseek-reasoner is the R1 model, which is better at logical reasoning, but the speed may be slightly slower.

    Click "Save" and you're done!

IV. Choose Your Translation Engine ​

After completing the configuration, select OpenAI ChatGPT in the Translation Channel option of the video translation software to use it!
