This software is a free tool developed by independent developers using open source speech recognition models combined with third-party translation APIs and third-party dubbing APIs, and is intended to provide video translation and dubbing functions. The developer guarantees that no user data will be obtained or stored during the operation of the software.
The speech recognition function (openai and faster modes) integrated in this software runs completely in the local environment and does not involve sending any data to the developer's server. When using third-party translation APIs and dubbing APIs, the relevant data will be directly transmitted from the user's computer to the third-party server without being processed by the developer's server. This software does not require user registration or login and does not collect or store any personal information.
This software is purely a personal hobby project. The developer has no profit-making purpose, has not formulated any profit-making plans, and does not provide paid technical support or other paid services.
This software does not provide the function of transferring video content, nor does it encourage or support any form of video content moving behavior. This software is only intended to reduce language barriers when watching foreign language videos.

If you want to use it, you need to prepare your own third-party API account and key, and fill it in the software (only saved on your computer locally, and sent to the third-party platform corresponding to the API during use, and does not pass through our server during the entire process). The fees generated by the third-party API are not related to us.
The interface of this software is developed based on pyside6, and the software open source protocol adopts the GPL-v3 open source protocol.
